Forest Hills Movers est. 2021
Forest Hills Movers is a local, family-owned residential moving company based in Ada, MI. We started in late-2021 with a vision to provide the local community with an affordable, personable, and stress-free moving experience.
Both Owner’s – Nick and Curt – have years of experience moving eclectic furniture and antiques for their grandparents who owned an Estate Sale business for decades in East Grand Rapids.
Forest Hills Movers is an honest and transparent company that you can trust from initial phone call to beyond moving day. We pride ourselves on being family-oriented and treat our customers like they are a part of our own family.
Meet the Owners
Nick Wassenaar
Founder/Owner
Nick was born and raised in the Forest Hills area. He went to Forest Hills Northern High School ‘13 and then went on to Grand Valley State University to study Finance. He has previously worked at a local company assisting small businesses with their government sales and marketing efforts.
In his free time, Nick enjoys going on hikes at local trails around Ada with his girlfriend Melanie and dogs – Archie and June.
Curt Wassenaar
Owner/Operator
Curt resides in West Michigan and graduated from NorthPointe Christian High School in 2005 before obtaining a Master's in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University. After working over a decade with city and state governments, he decided to pursue Forest Hills Movers to focus on moving and acquiring antiques like his family before him.
Curt is the father to three children and enjoys building furniture and fostering dogs from Harbor Humane Society.
